This week we continued our tour of local elected o This week we continued our tour of local elected officials, discussing our fight for a fair contract in meetings with Congressmen Mullin’s office and Supervisor Canepa’s. We shared the struggles our faculty members face with long commutes and not being able to afford to live in or near San Mateo County, and the negative impact on our students when our district doesn’t provide good working conditions for their employees. We had great conversations with Carol Ong from Mullin’s office and Tony Bayudan from Canepa’s, and appreciate their support as we keep fighting until we win a fair contract!
